Three

As all the dogs are sleeping
I'll keep you awake,
Make certain that you love me,
I'll put you in your place.
As all the dogs are breathing
I'll keep yours from waste,
Make certain that you love me,
I'll put you in your place.

My coffee runs red
My blood runs cold
The old keep getting younger
but the young still grow old
I never grew up
I just grew out
I never had anything
that I didn't doubt
Shooting for thighs
I'll never hit
If it catches my eye
it's assured that I'll miss
hit on the head
to reminisce
I don't know your name
there's something I missed

If you ask I will answer
I've heard that kindness is a cancer
and that drugs are the answer
if you ask a little faster
I will carry your disaster
and glow forever after

Get Time
Be mine
Sunshine.

21

1810 sits beside me
streamers, seamers and all
space behind me soon reminds me
the reasons why I call.

21 inches is all that's left
of a time that I call home.
A second set with less regrets
I'll take and not complain,
for prayer tastes bitter in this mouth
that holds dear so much profane.

Rain is in the distance
Fire's in my eyes
Reflected in the instant
the Earth decides to rise and take the light
in life I've always found so dear.
I swear I will keep searching
for what I can't find here.

SaWing

These inches right between us
keep turning to the left,
I keep turning round
but I always miss the theft.
I'm pierced straight through
but refuse to bleed.
Keep your satisfaction,
I mop the floor with me.
